I’m Pretty Sure North Dakota Doesn’t Want Us Living Here

Before you get ready to THROW me out of town...and North Dakota altogether...

...hear me out ( or READ ME out ) on this. For all of you born and raised in North Dakota, I don't have to tell you just how brutal the weather elements can be. To those people who think it's ALWAYS cold out here, well they are only half wrong. The summer heat can get in the 100s - not often though. There never seems to be one solid week on your weather app of just smooth sailing - say weather in the 70s maybe.

Ok, yes I'm from San Diego, California..weather in the 70s is extremely common

I was born and raised in California, where the weatherman or woman out there almost freaks out if it gets below 50 degrees - living out here for the past 10 years I have learned to appreciate a 24-hour day with NO weather drama. North Dakota will challenge you with a day like we had yesterday - then you blink an eye and the next thing you know we are braced for a possible blizzard - Mother Nature also likes to mess with your head with the construction season kicks in ( which is usually when we finally get decent weather )

Yes, North Dakota doesn't want you here

But thank goodness for the PEOPLE who are here - those who will do anything to make sure you are taken care of when your apartment gets flooded - or when you are stranded on the side of the road, next to your car. North Dakotans are what is so special in this State...make sense? Now tell Mother Nature to chill out ( not literally )
