Just Another Day For Our Bismarck Heroes - Saving 10 Tiny Hearts

Oh yeah....just another day for our Bismarck heroes - Bismarck fire department station 2. No matter what the situation is, they are on-call to handle anything, at any second of the day. When I say the word Firefighter what image pops into your head right away? I will tell you what I think - courage, bravery, and most of all, compassion for others and today was just another example of that.

Have you ever sat back and wondered about all the mischief and worries your kids may have caused you in the past? Well, today a family of ducks was strolling along and came across a storm sewer near S 12th St & Tacoma Ave.- the kids became curious and before you know it, 10 little ducklings were in peril. According to Bismarck ND City Government Facebook page here is what happened:

QUACK-TASTIC RESCUE!

This morning, the Bismarck Fire Department swooped in to save the day (and some ducklings!) after a concerned citizen spotted a brood stuck in a storm sewer near S 12th St & Tacoma Ave.

Thanks to the crew from Station 2, all 10 little ducklings were safely rescued and reunited with their mom, who was patiently waiting nearby.

After a dramatic rescue, the whole feathered family gathered together once again with a relieved mom in tow and waddled off to safety. Just another day in the life of our Bismarck heroes - thank you for what you do for us!
