Former Bismarck High and University of North Dakota standout receiver Weston Dressler is officially back on the market.

The Kansas City Chiefs cut Dressler on Monday, just a few months after he left behind a successful career in the CFL to try and achieve his NFL dreams.

According to KCKingdom.com, one of Dressler's biggest problems was creating separation between himself and NFL defensive backs:

In the CFL, receivers get a running start, much like arena football. Dressler had to make the adjustment of getting off the line beating his guy within a five yard stretch.

No word yet on Dressler's plans for the future. He could find another team that is in need of his services or he could head back to the CFL, where he was a bonafide star.

We'll keep an eye on Dressler and update you as soon as we know more regarding his plans.
