Here Is The Latest Dirt On The Ongoing Mandan Construction

Ahh, the "twists and turns" of our ongoing Mandan construction

I'm not kidding on this, literally almost every day when we come to work here on the strip at 4303 Memorial Highway, Townsquare Media, we either face an alternative way of arriving at our radio station. I promise you this, I am NOT complaining, I realize that this project is quite a task, and I look for the humor in everything. For a while, our only entryway into our parking lot was barricaded. SO a tiny little grassy ramp was what brought us in and out, with the help of our neighbor, Dakota Community Bank & Trust.

Before I continue, take a look at a new addition to the outside of our building

Just off to the left of us, and right next to Bobcat of Mandan, out of nowhere it seemed, there is a mountain of dirt the size of Mt Everest ( see the picture on the cover of this article ) - but wait, MORE dirt, behind our radio station.

Here is the latest from the Memorial Highway Newsletter:

***40th Avenue SE Closure Continues – Crews are focusing their efforts on completing the work at 40th Avenue SE, which includes storm sewer, sanitary, water, and roadway improvements. The closure began on October 1 and is still on track to open after three weeks.

***43rd Avenue – Concrete, curb, and gutter work is progressing. Crews are preparing to pour additional sections and complete approach work for several nearby businesses.

***Sanitary Sewer Work – Underground utility crews are installing new sanitary lines and manholes near 40th Avenue. Dewatering operations continue to keep work areas accessible.

Business Access

Although access directly from Memorial Highway to 40th Avenue South is closed, all businesses in the area remain open and accessible. You can reach them by using 19th Street SE or 21st Street SE and traveling north on 40th Avenue South.
