I will tell you that every day, and I guarantee you THIS is the hardest job in all of Bismarck and Mandan. Since April, we have seen construction here on Memorial Highway. Here is the one thing we all know to be true: if you have lived out here in North Dakota long enough, you know that roads closed, and alternate routes are commonplace in the summer. Well, let me tell you something, Chelsea Klein is a true superstar!

A valuable employee and a first-class representative of Reede Construction

No doubt you have seen this wonderful lady out in the 80-degree-plus weather with a classy, professional smile - making sure traffic is running smoothly, and that those huge trucks you see are guided in and out of the area. Her number one priority, obviously, is safety, and that the drivers of the construction trucks are waved in safely, taking the pressure off them. It's a job that's sometimes done in uncomfortable conditions ( the weather, of course ), and not to mention the mean glares and rude comments from people.

On the job since April 21st

Chelsea's attitude is perfect. I asked her how she maintains her composure when some tempers flare and impatient drivers shout out their complaints to her as they drive by. "For the most part, it's ok. The crew I work with - Reede Construction - they are a great group"

You can't just train someone to have a fantastic attitude

I mean, you can surely try, but her job is so important, and I hope other people see that too when you drive by Chelsea. Trust me, and I'm sure she will agree with me on this, a smile and a friendly wave go a long way!
