According to Inforum, Bob McKenzie of TSN in Canada reported that the Minnesota Wild and Colorado Avalanche will each host outdoor games next season, though it has not yet been determined whether the game will take place at Target Field or TCF Bank Stadium.

McKenzie stated that he expected the NHL to announce next season's Stadium Series games this weekend. The Wild would welcome the Chicago Blackhawks to Minnesota.

There is only one Stadium Series game scheduled for this season, which will take place on February 21st, 2015. The Los Angeles Kings and San Jose Sharks will face each other at Levi's Stadium, the new home of the San Francisco 49ers.
