North Dakota Athletics spotlight: James Inman
Rob Meltzer is our Townsquare media Sports director and is all over the state of North Dakota and Minnesota for that matter covering our highschool players once they go to college. Here's one of his stories.
James Inman. James, a former three-year starter for Shiloh, graduated in 2014. He led the Skyhawks to the playoffs three times, and the team went to the state nine-man semifinals in James' senior year in the fall of 2013.
After starting his college career at MSUM (Moorhead), he spent a year at U Mary, before transferring to St. John's of Minnesota. James is now in his third year with the Johnnies and is a starting outside linebacker. James is a defensive captain and leads the team in tackles with 24. St. John's is off to a 3-0 start (including a 56-10 win over Carleton on Saturday), and they are ranked #4 in the nation in NCAA Division 3.
James is an accounting major and graduates in December of this year. He is strongly considering going to graduate school, and he wants to apply to the NCAA for a one-year extension for football playing eligibility.
Attached is an interview I did with James today.
