So let me ask you this: have you ever encountered a snarling wild coyote up close before?

Well, you're not alone; most people haven't. It's not at all like you would imagine, either; it's actually more horrific than you would even think. Catching you completely off guard, coming home one night, just pulling into your own garage, where you anticipate a friendly greeting from your three dogs. Then you suddenly detect something is way wrong, a noise, a hiss, a snarl, all from an unwanted guest.

Good advice, I would advise you the same thing. Steve Ost from Adrian, North Dakota,  had hardly any time to digest what all the experts say. There, in his garage, was a wild coyote standing its ground, cornered and onto a deep freeze. According to valleynewslive.com “I didn’t turn on the lights. I got in here and all of a sudden there was a holy commotion going on,” he said. His three dogs were actively engaging with the coyote, which had jumped onto a deep freeze for safety.

The coyote was eventually shot and killed, and Steve and his three dogs were fine, just shaken up a bit. By the way, it is legal in North Dakota to defend yourself from a snarling coyote - so good to know.
