Payless used to be one of my favorite places to shoe shop. They were trendy and had killer sales. Remember BOGO? That was the best time to stock up on on the shoes of the season. Unfortunately, in 2019, all physical Payless stores were shut down due to Chapter 11 bankruptcy.

Less than a year after Payless ShoeSource closed its doors in Bismarck, as well as around the country, the company is bouncing back. It is actually emerging from this Chapter 11 bankruptcy for a second time. With this revamp, Payless will focus on international markets and wants to revive its largest business unit, Latin America.

Now, this information was just released yesterday, so we there is minimal information available. It does not appear that there will be an abundance of brick-and-mortar stores in the United States. However, Payless says it will have some physical US stores, and relaunch its e-commerce site.

If you are missing Payless, there is some good news ahead of their comeback. Fortunately, the company has been selling some of it shoes one amazon.com, so you are able to order from them.
