In general, North Dakota is a pretty safe to live in.

Even in our biggest cities, I would feel comfortable walking around just about anywhere.  According to safewise, the study suggests that only 33% of responders are worried about crime in North Dakota.  Those are pretty comfortable numbers in my book.

Violent crime is going down in North Dakota (more good news).

We only have 2.6 incidents per 1,000 people compared to 3.3 last year, according to the article.  The only fly in the ointment is that the property crime rate is on the rise.  Increasing from 21.2 to 21.9 (not a big jump).

Our violent crime rate is also lower than the violent crime rate in our West North Central region (3.9 per 1,000 people).  We did however trend just above the region's property crime rate average (20.3).

So, without further ado, these are the 10 North Dakota Safest Cities/Towns to live in for 2023.
