Woman In North Dakota Accused Of Recording Infant Abuse On TikTok

I came across a Facebook post where a mother in Carrington, ND is allegedly abusing her infant. The post included a TikTok video of a naked baby, sitting in a plastic seat with an attached tray. The child is a little bit dirty (possibly from food that may have been on the tray) and looks like he or she may have recently had a crying fit. While it is not uncommon for babies to be naked, dirty, or crying, what the adult voice on the other side of the camera said to the baby is disturbing.

"This little turd kept us up all night. Look at who's tired now. Hm? Look at who's tired now! We're keeping you up!" This was what was said to the baby, who could not possibly understand was going on. The baby, whose eyes appear red and who looks defeated and distressed, reaches for the person who is talking on the other side of the camera. And that 14-second video is all we know about the situation at hand. You can see the short video below (WARNING: the video may be disturbing to some viewers).

According to comments and a screenshot of a Facebook conversation with the Carrington Police Department, authorities have been notified about the alleged abuse.

At this point, there is not a lot of information on what is going on with this alleged infant abuse. Hopefully, the baby is in safe hands. I will follow up if more information on this story unfolds.
