Check out Wednesday's career fair. Or are ya afraid of getting hired?

Those folks are nothing but respectful of the myriad of reasons and circumstances that you may have endured which have made it difficult to obtain and maintain reasonable employment.

But Still, You Can Help Save North Dakota Businesses BY GETTING A JOB!

You can help yourself by getting a job.  You can help your folks by getting out of their basement.  You can help numerous businesses that are on the edge of shutting down either temporarily or permanently within the next few weeks.  You may not owe anything to those businesses, but you owe it to yourself (and your parents) to start earning some money.

So where to start?

Probably an optometrist since you haven't seen all the help-wanted signs that are EVERYWHERE you go!  But wouldn't it sure be nice if all those employers could line up in one location so you could see all the career opportunities?

What if they had a whole bunch of free food?  What if they offered complimentary supervised child care with carnival games and such? What if they all had a sincere desire to see you succeed?

United Tribes Technical College is offering all those things during its Fall Career Fair!

I was there for the last UTTC Job Fair and there was a fantastic variety of employers on-site hiring in many fields.  Vocational and occupational, let them help you get started towards a rewarding career.

I'll even be there broadcasting for Cool 98.7 and spreading the good word.  Stop by and tell me to shut my big mouth!  Like everyone else, we're hiring around here too! I might even talk you into getting off that couch!  (I know...I should shut up)
