Who doesn't like to fly? Who hates the hassles of delays when you do fly?

The construction that is currently underway is designed for you to have a better experience the whole way through. Sometimes, half the stress and worry of taking a trip out of town is due to whether or not any complications come up, like missing your flight etc. Some upgrades are underway at the Bismarck Airport to make your travels a lot more comfortable.

Construction is expected to be completed by this fall, 2025

According to the Bismarck Airport Facebook page:

"Construction at the airport has been busy and we couldn’t be more excited for the upgrades taking place, both at the terminal and on the airfield. Here’s what’s underway:

Gate 2 and Gate 3 Jet Bridge Enhancements: Passenger boarding and deplaning experiences are being upgraded with the replacement of jet bridges at Gates 2 and 3. These new “apron-drive” jet bridges, will replace the aging “radial-drive” models and feature climate-controlled technology for improved passenger comfort!
Taxiway Charlie North Reconstruction:
This project focuses on rebuilding aging pavement, improving pavement strength, and upgrading lighting and signage to ensure safe and efficient airfield operations. Taxiway Charlie North is a critical component of the Bismarck airport, connecting terminals, aprons, and runways.
What this means for travelers: Flight impacts are minimal. However, we are operating out of three gates, which may result in occasional gate changes, so double check your gate! Airline personnel are closely coordinating with each other to ensure a smooth on-time travel experience for travelers"
Happy travels!
