A Fargo Business Man Makes ND Golf Courses Come Alive
I ran into this golf enthusiast just last Thursday
I love what he is doing for golf courses, as you will read about Richard Grossman, his excitement, and wonderful ways of bringing out the magic of a golf course is truly a gift. Let me throw something at you real quick:
18 Greens: Bully Pulpit Golf Course - YouTube
His name is Richard Grossman, and he graduated from NDSU in 2017, with a MBA in 2019
"18 Greens" is a narrated, cinematic look at a golf course, 100% from an aerial point of view. When you watch an 18 Greens piece, it's meant to stoke that "bucket list" feeling in a golfer.
Their tagline is "We Exist for Your Bucket List" for that reason. If a course decides to invest in one of these films, 18 Greens want it to be a piece they feature on their home page and their social media.
In 2024, they got their first golf course to sign off, Bully Pulpit in Medora
As Richard put it, "Bully Pulpit was the "whale" we wanted from the start. They have such a unique and dramatic landscape, which is exactly the type of thing we're going for with 18 Greens. We were very excited to work with such a recognizable place from the jump".
"18 Greens" goals are simple
- 18 Greens ideally lives in two places: on a course's website/social media, as well as the 18 Greens YouTube channel
- As we're able to complete more of these, we want the YouTube channel to take off as well. We want that crossover among viewers, where maybe someone is searching for Bully Pulpit's video but another one catches their eye. We want courses to benefit from other courses' content
- Ideally, we'd like to release one 18 Greens feature per month
- In short, we want this series to feature courses in a way that both tells their story and shows off their incredible landscape. The "wow factor" of a course is the number one thing we want to highlight
How awesome does all of the above look? Here is some information if you are interested in getting your favorite golf course involved:
