August 28th - Kitty City - A PURRRR-FECT Place To Be!

Last year I had a chance to visit Kitty City - about a 15-minute drive from our radio station here in Mandan - I left completely blown away by such an amazing place. This place is heaven for all strays, cats that need certain medical attention. Allison and Steve Smith have clearly devoted their lives to save and protect surrendered animals - not just cats.

It's impossible to try and describe everything Kitty City is all about - but the second you walk through the door at 4747 22nd Ave SW Mandan, the magic comes alive. Cats from every angle will come by, cat trees everywhere, and this goes on from room to room. With the help of volunteers that come out on a regular basis, Kitty City provides cats up for adoption. Your chance to provide a home for a cat that so needs your love.

August 28th - 3rd Annual Floats With Goats

Besides the name Kitty City - they also are a home for horses ( Triple H Miniature Horse Rescue ), chickens, Wanda ( the blind pig ). August 28th from noon to four, take the whole family out and meet some critters! Check out some of these neat events:
