A Feeling Of Family, A Perfect Bismarck Trunk or Treat
Where do I begin? What a blast I had yesterday at the 3rd Annual Hunter's Smile Trunk or Treat
I arrived just before 3:00, the 96.5 Walleye vehicle, and I pulled into the parking lot at Hollevoet & Welk Orthodontics -1165 W Turnpike Ave. I had no candy to pass out, but I did bring some classic rock! This was the 3rd year of this event, and Hope from the Bismarck Larks had some of her crew there, directing some of the other sponsors that showed up early to set up. Walking around the parking lot, I said "Hi" and took as many pictures as I could. The weather was just perfect, not much breeze and the sun graced us all in Bismarck and Mandan with a late afternoon hug.

From 4 - 6 pm, I enjoyed every second of watching all the smiles and families visiting every sponsor and grabbing a special treat
From every costume, to all the super excited kids ( every age and size ), this was such an awesome event ( warmed my heart, even more so than the sun up in the sky )
I grew up in San Diego, California. I STILL remember the wonderful feeling of being with my family on the week of Halloween
Looking at the long lines of costumes and families brought back so many warm memories. Moms and dads, holding hands with their little Ninja turtles.
Kids can dream of growing up and being a beauty queen
These 3 wonderful ladies - perfect role models for all of us really
I walked up the hill for just a bit, and looked down at all the people, and found myself really missing my parents and my sister
So I decided to take a couple of minutes and capture what the Halloween spirit is truly like in Bismarck...

Thank you to EVERYONE who was there yesterday. It was an awesome day.
