The story of Bismarck High Alum Treysen Eaglestaff has many "Spins" to it

This is the ongoing tale of an extremely talented Bismarck High alum - a basketball star who has blossomed into his college playing days - at the University of North Dakota - this guard put up 51 points against South Dakota State last season - the most of any player in D1 last year. Say "Hello" to the college portal.

What exactly IS the college portal?

The college portal allows players a chance to transfer to another school. There are many reasons "Why" someone would do that, the most common one is to see more playing time against stiffer competition - this is what Treysen Eaglestaff has experienced lately.

Just late night Treysen dropped another HUGE announcement. According to grandforksherald.com "Former UND standout Treysen Eaglestaff has committed to West Virginia, he announced late Sunday night. Eaglestaff had previously committed this offseason to South Carolina. Since entering the transfer portal after the season, Eaglestaff was generating recruiting interest from Kentucky, Michigan, Kansas, UCLA and others, according to ON3's Joe Tipton"
