“North Dakota Nice” – A First-Class Move By A Local Business
When I watched this video this morning, the first thing I thought of was "North Dakota Nice"
I mean, patented "North Dakota Nice" to perfection. If you are new to North Dakota, welcome. If you are new to these three words, "North Dakota Nice", then simply keep reading this article. I have lived out here now for over 11 years, and it still blows my mind how much people care about one another.
Sadly, a local restaurant just closed its doors for the last time here in Bismarck
For years, Bismarck/Mandan residents have relaxed and enjoyed dining at The Little Cottage Cafe - for almost 30 years in fact, and that's a track record that says a lot. Their love and joy were treating their customers like family. They shut their doors for good this past week. A tough, sad week already, the owners said they would still honor their commitment:
"We definitely want to reimburse you for your unused certificates. If you know of anyone who might have one and isn’t on Facebook please reach out to them and tell them to stop by!! We want to be fair and pay everyone back for these unused certificates"

Here is when "North Dakota Nice" shines
Sit back and smile, check out what Bearscat Bakehouse posted this morning on their Facebook page:
"Everyone has heard by now of the Little Cottage Cafe in Bismarck closing their doors this week, We wanted to see if we could do something to make their retirement extra sweet"
