Here is a good old-fashioned mystery that is slowly unraveling by the minute ( at least it is for me )

This one could be a mind twister for us all to figure out, OR maybe I just have too much time on my hands ( don't let my boss know that ). I discovered this post a while back on one of my favorite social media sites - The Bismarck People Reporting News Facebook Group Page. I love this group so much for many reasons, I consider it Bismarck/Mandan's hub to what is going on around our city. People looking for work, advice being asked on where to go to find this or that, AND residents doing the right thing by reporting an item that was found - such the case as this nice person writing in yesterday morning:

"Apple Watch found at Optimist Park on N 16th St near the basketball court. Please help me find the owners! There is a passcode and if you can unlock it I will give it to you"

Enclosed in the post were a couple of pictures of the watch.

Today's update

As of  FRIDAY 7/8/2022 3:15 pm, the watch has not been identified. Some people who saw this initial post noticed one very key element - SAT 9  2:54. Remember now, this was FOUND BACK ON A THURSDAY 7/7/2022. Can you hear the twilight music playing? VERY ODD. One simple question popped into my pointy head, do we have a couple of Time Travelers that are roaming around in town dining on Taco Bell take-out ( notice the shirt the guy is wearing? )

I dove into this further

Why would an Apple watch have a date frozen on its face for a later time? So I did some thinking, maybe this piece has been lost for a while....I swiftly picked up a calendar and noticed that the last time we had a Saturday the 9th was back in April, before that it was waaaay back in October of 2021 - see what I'm getting at? One last thing to ponder, according to androidauthority.com the apple watch "... has an “all-day battery" good enough for up to 18 hours between charges" So there is no way it was lost back then. Do we have a couple of people who can travel years ahead in the future? If so Minnesota would like to know if the Twins will ever beat the New York Yankees in the playoffs!

If you ARE the two Time Travelers in the picture, and you can take a short trip back in time,  I have one small favor to ask of you both

If you can track down the woman I asked out on a first date last year who gave me the wrong address of her house and tell her I changed my mind anyway ( might help my confidence just a tad )
