Look what I found this morning!

Yes, PUN intended - while taking a SPIN through Mandan this morning, I glanced off to my right and saw RARE BIRD RECORDS  - 2318 Memorial Highway.  It's a real record store! New & Used Vinyl Records   - T-Shirts, Stickers & More - Turntables - CDs and Cassettes. All of that equals COOL! The owner Steve Banyai, from Mott, North Dakota is getting set to open NEXT Monday - October 28. You couldn't be more wrong if you think there isn't a need or want for records anymore - "I've seen the record business grow and grow and grow"

I love walking into a record store - anticipation for a rare find...

...for you never know what you'll come across. It must be a real joy to share your own collection - a great deal of what Steve has in his store comes from distributors. Here is what he posted just this morning on their Rare Birds Facebook page:

· "Hello there friends. @followers Some of you have found about us already and hopefully you spread the word to all your friends. (Bird is the word)
WE WILL BE OPEN FOR BUSINESS ON MONDAY OCT 28th.
We hope to see you next week and into the future, and be on the lookout for more posts"
