Bismarck’s Lauren Beck-A Young Lady With An Amazing Future Ahead
Whether she is out on the course measuring a short putt...
....as co-captain of the Legacy High golf team OR just casually taking in an art exhibit, Lauren Beck has an amazing future ahead. Lauren serves as secretary of the Student Council - a member of the Bismarck-Mandan Student Leadership Network and is currently a member of both the National Honor Society and the National Art Honor Society. She volunteers at the Dream Center, a local entity that provides free meals and resources for those in need, by providing free art lessons on a monthly basis. Lauren was a participant in North Dakota's American Legion Auxiliary (ALA) Girls State and attended ALA Girls Nation in Washington, D.C. She plans to study international relations and Spanish with the hopes of pursuing a career in foreign relations.

"The United States Senate Youth Program (USSYP) announces that high school students Ms. Lauren Kaitlyn Beck and Ms. Brianna Elizabeth Schmitz will join Senator John Hoeven and Senator Kevin Cramer in representing North Dakota during the 62nd annual USSYP Washington Week, to be held March 2 — 9, 2024. Lauren Beck of Bismarck and Brianna Schmitz of Oakes were selected from among the state’s top student leaders to be part of the 104 national student delegation. Each delegate will also receive a $10,000 college scholarship for undergraduate study"
