Our second visit to this wonderful Bismarck Elementary School

Right around this time last year three of our Townsquare Media radio stations here in Mandan were invited to Bismarck's Silver Ranch Elementary School - to participate in the National Reading Month. Just before 11:00 am this morning 103.3 US's Rockin' Rick, Andi Ahne from HOT 975, and myself - Bromo from 96.5 The Walleye arrived at the school and paid a quick visit to their library to pick out a quick book to read in front a class.

We had a chance to speak to some of the teachers for about 10 minutes

Jennifer Phillips, Lacey Mettler, and Suzanne Ternes were so charming to talk with. Their obvious love for the students, and watching them grow and learn each day is one of the greatest rewards you can receive. The highest compliment I can give to these three teachers is just how courteous and well-mannered every student was to us.

The class I read in must have had around 20-25 kids

Every single one of them treated me with such respect. Some of them raised their hands at certain times and they were a true joy to be around. I will tell you this, it really made me feel special to be around all these awesome 4th graders. Big Time Thanks to our very own Lisa Arth for setting this up again.

This is another example of a classroom that is so happy...
