The art of tattoos never ceases to amaze me...

...and so many other people feel the same as I do. 29-year-old Nokes and his wife Chelsea, along with their 8-year-old daughter and a one-year-old son have lived in North Dakota for about a year and a half. Last month was a HUGE day for Nokes and Chelsea...AND all of Bismarck, because a talented artist and his wife opened Sacred Souls Tattoos - 200 East Main Ave - Suite 100. You can explore your imagination here - Tuesday through Saturday -10-7 pm.

For 16 years Nokes has been perfecting his artwork

Like so many other talented tattoo artists, Nokes began to learn his skills when he was 13 years old. Watching his friends and uncles, when he developed his style. He and Chelsea have been married for 2 years - born and raised in Las Vegas. Chelsea told me that they welcome walk-ins - it's perfectly ok to check out his wonderful work before you decide what kind of tattoo you want.

4 awards picked up in early May

Recently Nokes and Chelsea took a drive out to Fargo - they came back to Mandan with 4 awards -  This is the event they went to - "The Fargo ND Tattoo Expo hosted by Black Web Ink Touring will be held at the Ramada by Wyndham Hotel 3333 13th Ave S, Fargo, ND 58103,50 booths filled with tattoo artists, piercers, vendors, and on the spot live tattooing by almost 100 of some of the top artists from around the country!"
