Is the title of this story too harsh? I don't think so. If you live in Fargo, you may have nodded your head already
These things still never cease to amaze and shock me all at once. It makes you stop and think, is there any place we can be when we are out and about, where we can be completely safe? The news unfolded early Sunday morning with the alarming news that shots were fired and one life was lost - at a downtown bar in Fargo, North Dakota.

There were two separate shootings on Sunday morning

To no surprise, people are now facing concerns about downtown Fargo and their safety.

This is what I wrote Sunday morning initially:

Two separate incidents, which involved gunfire, one person dead - how scary is that? According to inforum.com "The first shooting happened just before 2 a.m. outside the District 64 nightclub off Broadway in downtown Fargo. Fargo police say three people were shot. The extent of their injuries is unknown."

The second shooting took place at a different location - about half an hour later near a basketball court at the Westwood Estates apartment complex - this one led to a fatality. So far, there is no word on any suspects involved,as this is still an ongoing investigation. The dead man's name has not been released, and no word yet if both shootings were related.

Unfortunately, another victim died of their wounds. At the time of my article police had made no arrests.

********** UDATE **********

According to valleynewslive.com " Fargo Police say a homeless man was found in Jamestown last night and arrested in connection to a south Fargo homicide early Sunday morning. Caundre Douglas was taken into custody after a short foot chase."

The other shooting incident, which also ended up in a death, a suspect has been identified and is at large:
