Famous wild and crazy, insane stuntman has done some things you would never in your life attempt

Have you ever seen any of the Jackass movies? The first one came out back in 2002. There are more than 5 of them now - the running theme is to try and outdo each vulgar, shocking, and violent stunt they have attempted. His name is Steve-O - he pretty much proved to be fearless in whatever he was doing. Shock and awe - for instance, the time he "wore a Jellyfish Sobrero!" ...

...OR the time he was "Human Shark Bait"

Steve-O was surrounded by other carefree, careless individuals who had no problem showing their audience the crazy antics involving alcohol...( And there were a lot )

His life took a tragic turn when his friend and fellow Jackass star Ryan Dunn died in a car crash in 2011 - His blood level was more than twice the legal limit

Today is June 28, 2024. Steve-O has been sober now for almost 16 years...

In my mind, THIS is why he is a role model - not for all the wacky bizarre mind-blowing stunts he survived through- TODAY he is now free of the demons that raced in his head, and he is honest, approachable, AND funny. I can't wait to see a man who took back his life and is living proof that it is possible to be in control again.

This was posted earlier today on the Bismarck Event Center Facebook Page:

I hope to meet him and shake his hand. His wisdom and experience in alcoholism have and will save lives.
