...and have seen the sign, they immediately fall into a moment or two of silence. Their first thoughts are of a courageous young man they have never met - like so many others, a soldier who lost his life protecting them.

DJ was killed in action in Iraq in November 2005
At just twenty years old when Dennis DJ Ferderer Jr took his last breath. According to Kfyrtv.com "DJ was killed in action in Iraq in November 2005". Twenty years later, his parents are still living in sadness ( never goes away ) and memories, and now there is a sign of him for so many of us to see and never forget.
