If there's one thing North Dakotans love to do during the spring and summer months, it's support local business owners and spend time outside. How do we do both at the same time? Simple. We hit up our local Farmer's Markets.

Pies, rugs, blankets, handmade candles, baked goods, produce, baskets, purses, clothes, and everything you could possibly think of -- there's a little bit of everything at farmer's markets.

I remember as a kid getting up in the morning and driving over to our farmers market. I'd stop at every booth and ask my grandma to buy me literally everything that struck my fancy. Of course, she shot me down on most of it.

Spring & Summer Markets

While we are having a bit of a chillier week, it is getting to be that time of year again where the produce is plentiful, and farmers markets take place every weekend. I always like to drop by BisMarket in the Kiwanis park. They have music, and outdoor community yoga Saturday mornings. To find out when BisMarket starts this season, check out their website.
