American Airlines Living Up to its Name

This past weekend, one of their jets landed at the Bismarck Airport with a modified paint job. The familiar colors of red, white, and blue were all present, but the plane had a slight modification.

The Embraer E175 jet was also sporting "250" in honor of the 250th anniversary of the United States Declaration of Independence. You can expect a lot of patriotic scenes like this ahead of the July 4th celebration.

American Airlines Service in Bismarck 

American Airlines offers two non-stop flight options out of Bismarck, and they include Chicago's O'Hare and Dallas/Fort Worth. Worth airports. American Airlines also flies out of Fargo's Hector Airport with service to Dallas, Chicago, and Phoenix.

Earlier this year, the Bismarck Airport unveild it's plan for some major upgrades, which include:

Changes Coming to the Bismarck Airport

1. A major "glow up" for the terminal with two additional gates to expand air service capacity, which will likely include more flight departures and arrivals.

2. Increasing the size of the departure lounges to improve passenger experience.

3. Expand the TSA checkpoint to meet modern security standards.

4. Enlarge restrooms and amenities.

5. Increase baggage screening facilities to support increased air service.
