ND Pet Owners-7 Traits You Share With Your Furry Loved One In Bed

Ok, no shocker here - I am single and I have two cats

I have a pretty decent-sized bed in a two-bedroom apartment here in Bismarck - I am an average male as far as height is concerned - 5 foot 10 ( used to be almost 6 feet by the way ) - I have two cats, and let's just say they "Allow" me to sleep in my bed - they each have their own favorite spot on either side to curl up and snooze away. I'm not the only person in ND who sleeps with their pets in bed - Psychology believes we share 7 traits.

So let's see if WE ( people who sleep in bed with their pets ) do share these 7 traits

2) They’re comfortable with intimacy

I guess, sadly, that notion doesn't really apply to me since I've been single since the caveman days

The ONLY thing I'm afraid of is one of my two cats hacking up a furball on me in the dead of night

4) They value emotional connections

100%...I value the connections they have with their cat boxes

5) They’re likely to be more relaxed

"People who sleep with their pets often exhibit a more relaxed demeanor" - my cats know when I'm most relaxed at 6:01 am ( when they wake me up to feed them )

6) They’re often generous spirits

"Think about it. You’re giving up a portion of your bed, a place meant for your relaxation, to accommodate your pet. This selfless act is indicative of a generous spirit" Yeah I know, but if you ask THEM that, they are doing the favor by not making ME sleep on the couch.

7) They’re often highly adaptable

"Anyone who has ever tried to sleep with a sprawled-out dog or a purring cat knows it requires a certain level of adaptability" - ANYONE who has woken up to discover a couple of scratches on their arms or legs has learned to ADAPT.
