If there is one thing any of us can do for others, it is give a little bit of something. Whether it is volunteer time, raising awareness, or monetary and item donations, we in Bismarck-Mandan can come together and do great things for people in need. And, last month, the Adopt-a-Block program had an abundance of food donations to give to those in need in our community.

According to KFYR-TV, The Dream Center Bismarck Adopt-a-Block collected so much for North Dakotans in need, that the food program ended up providing food to almost 2,000 families in February. The report says that this number is up nearly 10 times from last year! Get the full story about this amazing accomplishment of helping people in our community here.

Have you heard of Adopt-a-Block? It is a local program where donations are collected and food is delivered to people in our community. The program runs Monday through Saturday, and the truck delivers at different locations throughout town every day. There are many ways a person can give back to the Bismarck-Mandan community. You can help people or animals in need by volunteering and/ or donating - whatever way you want to help! As long as there are people and animals in need, there will always be a need for help.
