One Of Mandan’s Favorites Says “Goodbye” – “Gracias”
Without question, the key to success in any business is treating your customers like family...
...and it's no secret that people have to learn, it's just good old common sense and courtesy. I will miss this place terribly, and reading all of the comments that have come forward, I'm not alone in feeling this way. For the last 9 years - over at 2901 Memorial Highway - a family has literally adopted all of Mandan and Bismarck - The Taqueria El Guerro LLC Mexican Restaurant
An extremely sad post from their Facebook Page this morning:
"Hi everyone. Happy Halloween.
We want to start off by thanking each and every one of you for all the kindness and support we have received over the last 9 years.
Today will be our last day. We are closing our doors to Taqueria El Guerro to no longer be reopening. So if you have a chance to stop by for the last time, we will see you there and if not, we just want to give a massive thank you.
Taqueria El Guerro will be PERMANENTLY CLOSED"
Like every business, it went through some rough times during COVID - but they always were committed to treating its customers like family. What I respected the most is during the holiday season, they would close up for a week or so, and travel to be with other family. That says a lot in my opinion. Just how much will they be missed? Check out some of the comments from THEIR other family - steady customers:
"Aww. I'm sorry to see you close shop. Thank you for feeding me over my time in Mandan. You were the closest to home cooked meals I had and I savored every bite when I would eat with you. Y'all treated me so well. Best of everything to you
"Best food in town! Will miss you!"
"Oh no!! Your food was so amazing, and your staff was phenomenal! You will definitely be missed"
I went over there this afternoon to say goodbye, and to thank them for allowing me to be one of their family members. I was greeted with a HUGE smile, like always :)
