On this Thursday afternoon, around 1:45 pm, I continue to be floored as the day progresses. The cancellations of events worldwide started slowly, and now are gaining full steam, all thanks to the coronavirus. What we have taken for granted all these years, decades even, are now shutting down, in a effort for all this insanity to somehow disappear.

Whether we believe it or not, it's affecting each and every one of us. The mad rush for toilet paper, a social media frenzy. Think about the millions of dollars that will be lost, would be tourists that are now grounded, in the sporting scene, stadiums and arenas will be empty. This is what ESPN just put out-"The Power 5 leagues -- the ACC, Big Ten, Big 12, SEC and Pac-12 -- canceled their men's basketball conference tournaments Thursday, with several leagues going as far as to indefinitely postpone all athletic events amid the coronavirus pandemic".

WOW-ESPN then launched this punch in the stomach- "Major League Baseball is delaying the start of the 2020 regular season by at least two weeks in response to the coronavirus pandemic, the league announced Thursday. MLB said in a statement that spring training games have also been suspended starting at 4 p.m. ET Thursday".
