R.I.P. Ozzy Osbourne – Music Icon Dead At 76 Years Old

The music world is mourning the loss of a great one today....The Prince of Darkness" has passed away

We had an amazing three weeks ( Which ended this past Sunday ) where "The Ozzy Box Set" was on our mobile app and web page - a contest where someone could WIN his entire music catalogue on vinyl, autographed by the Oz man himself. I fielded so many calls and e-mails from excited listeners trying to win this amazing prize, sadly, this morning the "Prince of Darkness" left our world at the age of 76 years old.

"Ozzy Osbourne, who achieved enormous success as a pioneer of two disreputable but popular entertainment genres, heavy metal music and reality television, died on Tuesday. He was 76.

His family announced the death in a statement, which did not say where he died or specify a cause. He had been treated in recent years for a rare genetic condition called Parkinsonism, with symptoms similar to Parkinson’s disease, exacerbated by his chronic drug abuse"
