The government's ongoing, Nugent-approved shutdown might have scuttled one couple's wedding plans, if not for the intrepid efforts of talk-show host and comedic genius Stephen Colbert.

‘Ready Steady Go’ served not only as the opening tune for Billy Idol as he dominated a steamy Casino Ballroom in Hampton Beach, N.H. on June 2, but also the general vibe of the evening as the iconic rocker seamlessly coasted through the evening, making it look easy.

Concertgoers have already noticed new songs like 'Ghosts' and 'Love and Glory' finding their way into Billy Idol's current setlists. Now, the veteran punk-rocker is confirming that a new album is on the way.

Billy Idol has added 19 dates to his summer 2013 itinerary. The 'White Wedding' singer was previously announced as a Bonnaroo performer, and now he's scheduled shows across the country around that June 15 date in Tennessee. Tickets for many of the dates go on sale this Friday (March 22).

Sebastian Bach may be building up to the release of his live concert CD / DVD release, 'ABachalypse Now,' but there's also plenty of fresh ideas floating around for the rocker at the moment. In a new studio update, Bach reveals that he's been spending some time writing with Billy Idol guitar great Steve Stevens for his next record.
