Judas Priest frontman Rob Halford was the guest on Full Metal Jackie's radio show this past weekend. "The Metal God" took the time to speak to Jackie about the band's upcoming 'Redeemer of Souls' album, their recent appearance on 'The Simpsons' and the group's dedication to flying the metal flag.

Last night, 'The Simpsons' paid homage to British heavy metal legends Judas Priest by immortalizing them as animated character's in the show's ever-growing list of guest stars. Priest were given a yellow makeover and featured on 'Steal This Episode' performing a unique version of their hit 'Breaking the Law,' and their brief appearance can be seen above in case you missed it.

As we reported back in October, Judas Priest singer Rob Halford will go from being the Metal God to the Yellow God as he gets a new look courtesy of the hit cartoon show 'The Simpsons.' Plenty of musicians have been featured on the long-running show, but rarely do metalheads get a bonus treat when watching the long-running animated series. The payoff will come this Sunday, Jan. 5, at 8PM ET on Fox

Countless celebrities have made cameo appearances on 'The Simpsons' over the past 25 seasons. We can now add Judas Priest frontman Rob Halford to the list.

It was such a logical move that even his replacement had little objection.

If Judas Priest had scheduled a film premiere 30 years ago, Rob Halford would have showed up on a Harley. But time stands still for no one -- not even a Metal God -- and Halford was rocking a decidedly different set of wheels at the New York screening of the band's 'Epitaph' DVD on May 14.
