Quite an interesting year it's been for a Bismarck native

What a season it's been for Bismarck Native Carson Wentz. This year he is playing for the Indianapolis Colts, and he's been in the National Football League now since 2016. After dealing with injuries, Carson has his team at 5-5 on the season, and in second place. Doing the best he can to win over the Colts fans, Wentz had to spend 5 years with some of the most hostile football fans you will ever see, Philadelphia.

Carson said "Hello" to their newest family member

Tuesday night, Carson Wentz had his first chance to say "Hello" to his newest team member. No, the Indianapolis Colts did not make a trade with another football team, something a million times more special than that happened. His Wife Madison gave birth to their second child - Hudson Rose 7 pounds, 14 ounces, and 19.75 inches. Welcome to the Wentz and Colts family!

The big decision to play last Sunday

The arrival of Hudson was coming soon, and Carson had a game scheduled last Sunday. Here was his dilemma, if his wife went into labor on game day, would he be on the field or at the hospital? According to indystar.com here is what Wentz had to say “If it comes down to the game, I told my wife, ‘I’m playing, and then I’ll come see you at the hospital afterwards,  She knew that. She’s been great. … I think God will time it up the way it’s supposed to be timed.”

Colts won their 2nd straight game 23-17 over the Jacksonville Jaguars

Wentz had the chance to do both. He and the Colts won on Sunday and he was there by his wife's side last night for his daughter's birth. Congratulations Carson!
