Watch Police Arrest Dakota Access Pipeline Protesters Near Mandan
Police officers arrested five Dakota Access Pipeline protesters south of Mandan Thursday morning, August 11th.
According to The Bismarck Tribune, the protesters were not staying within the boundaries set up by law enforcement. They were also interfering with those working on the pipeline.

Two of the five arrests were for trespassing, according to The Bismarck Tribune, who spoke with a representative from the Morton County Sheriff's Department.
Protesters continue to line Highway 1806, voicing their opposition of the Dakota Access Pipeline.
Opposition of the Dakota Access Pipeline has been well-documented. A petition set up by members of the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe on Change.org to stop the construction of the pipeline has received more than 165,000 signatures. You can sign the petition HERE.

The Dakota Access Pipeline will stretch from the Bakken and Three Forks productions areas in North Dakota to Illinois, according to DAPLPipelineFacts.com. The pipeline is expected to transport more than 470,000 barrels of crude oil every day.
