You Never Know Who You’ll Run Into 1,919 Miles From Bismarck
Last week I took a small vacation and went to see my nephew graduate from college
I have to be honest, I'm not much for travelling, probably because I fear flying so much. Sometimes you just have to suck it up though and realize a fact : it's about the fastest way you can get to Boston, MA.
I flew Delta, and to reach Boston, you fly into Minneapolis first on a cramped, smaller plane, and then onto a larger plane where you can actually watch a movie at 36,000 feet. A fairly short trip, I left around 1:00 on a Wednesday afternoon, and I didn't get into Boston until around 8:30 pm - Saturday morning was a 5:54 flight back to Minneapolis. Still, the goal was to see my family, and that is the most important thing in life.
Friday, my sister planned a trip from Marshfield, MA to Provincetown, MA
A little sightseeing was planned for my last day in Marshfield ( 29 miles from Boston ) - all 5 of us crammed into her car and off we went - "Tip of Cape Cod" Provincetown, MA was our destination. 88 miles later, the peaceful winds and smells of the ocean greeted us. My sister walked us into a restaurant called Lobster Pot - busy lunch hour. As we were waiting for the check, I glanced over to the bar just as someone who caught my eye - was that really her?
I saw her from the side, just for a moment. She and two others started walking downstairs
Without even giving it a second thought, I quickly followed her. Once we got outside, I knew for sure that it was Kelly from the Free Beer and Hot Wings show. Kelly, along with Maitlyn and the rest of Free Beer and Hot Wings, did their radio show live earlier that morning in Boston, I had no clue. These two young ladies couldn't have been more down to earth - so polite and humble. Have you ever run into anyone famous? You Never Know Who You'll Run Into 1,919 Miles From Bismarck!
