Not long ago on our sister station, Cool 98.7's Scott McGowan posted a blog about a wonderful opportunity to Fargo/ North Dakota residents. A New North Dakota Amazon Distribution Center - A one million square foot, three-story distribution center on 110 acres north of Hector International Airport - with an anticipated opening in early 2021 - In Fargo! Imagine how many jobs that will open up? Of course, Fargo media jumped all over it reporting AMAZON IS COMING, then the Fargo Forum boldly reached out to the company for a response and received this response from an Amazon spokeswoman "The company is constantly exploring new locations and weighing a variety of factors when deciding where to develop sites,We don’t provide information on our future roadmap." Now it's time for fingers to be crossed and hope that Fargo gains some new business neighbors.

Well will you look at what I came across, from CNN BUSINESS - Amazon is hiring 33,000 new employees with an average compensation package worth $150,000. How does that headline grab you? Amazon has planned the 15th of this month for what they are calling "Career Job". Here is part of what they released so far "Amazon announced it will hold a Career Day on September 16 that is open to everyone seeking a job. Amazon's (AMZN) Career Day will include a team of 1,000 Amazon recruiters offering 20,000 career coaching sessions, according to the tech giant's press release. The sessions are free of charge.

Sounds to me like an opportunity worth pursuing. There doesn't seem to be anything you got to lose, who knows right? For more info on this click here
