When was the last time you were driving down a street here in Bismarck and you rumbled over some torn-up patch? The first thing that popped into your head was "When are they going to fix that pot-hole?" According to KFYRTV starting this Wednesday and last through till April 14th, The City of Bismarck wants to hear from you about potential new street projects.

There are several streets in town that will be brought up in discussion, and of course, your complaints, ideas, and hopefully constructive comments will be heard. I have heard many gripes about key areas in town - for instance, the four lanes condensed to three on Main street. "Driving on Main street around 5:30 on a weekday afternoon is ridiculous, it's like a parking lot"  a co-worker of mine vented. The Virtual Public Input Meeting will be available for viewing and public input, March 31 through April 14, with presentation materials.

This is a great way to do some homework - head to bismarcknd.gov/streets. and see for yourself just how YOU can be heard. The /Bismarck-StreetsVirtual Public Input Meeting available on March 31, 2021, to receive public input and comments on proposed improvements to streets (4th St, 5th St., Broadway, Thayer Ave. & 6th St.) in Downtown Bismarck. The project consists of concrete pavement repairs and pedestrian facilities improvements.

Written statements or comments about this project must be postmarked or emailed by April 14, 2021, to:

Here is your chance to have your voice heard, the worst thing you can do is to just expect things to happen without taking some kind of action.
