In my opinion, it doesn't matter where you are from, but it definitely works against you in this case

I am from San Diego, California, and yes, people do go hunting and fishing out there. I have not done either. In fact, when I was 12 years old, I received a fishing pole for Christmas. I believe I never touched it, or even tried using it, not to bum anyone out or anything, but my parents separated soon after. Since I moved to ND, and then ended up here in Bismarck, it seems like EVERYONE fishes. So sadly, I can't relate to the feeling that I hear about so much when something tugs at your pole and demands your attention.

I can only imagine the adrenaline rush that Shannon Kobzina felt just recently

Have you ever hauled in a Leucistic Paddlefish? Well, according to kfyrtv.com "On the final day of paddlefishing season, Shannon Kobzina landed a striking milky-white paddlefish on her very first cast. The rare fish has leucism, a genetic mutation that removes most of its natural color while leaving its eyes dark. Because their bright white appearance makes them easy targets for predators, it’s extremely rare for one to survive to adulthood in the wild." This happened at the Missouri-Yellowstone confluence.

I have learned to say "What a WHOPPER" - does that make me almost worthy of saying I know a little bit about fishing?
