Bismarck’s Wonderful Retirement Community Needs You :)

Touchmark on West Century Retirement Community ( 1000 W Century Ave ) is a full-service retirement community - for over 22 years men and women over the age of 55 have been living in a beautiful community that has an ambitious volunteer program - inspired to "take it to the next level". I asked Grace Renner ( Life Enrichment Wellness Director ) what their goal is. Here is what their Facebook page posted:

"We are looking for talented and caring individuals to volunteer in our specialty neighborhoods. If you're interested in spreading your own brand of cheer, and have a talent, skill, or pet that the residents would enjoy, please reach out in the comments. Any community members into baking, crafting, yoga, painting, therapy goats, playing music, singing, dancing, flower arrangements, manicures, pedicures, pet therapy, or any other fun activities are welcome to volunteer their time. Makes you think to yourself that sometimes we can take life for granted, and forget all the little things that really can bring a smile to others - such as "...kids coming in and practicing the piano, People sharing their skills with some of the residents" Grace said. Once again my favorite question I like to ask anyone is - "What do you like about your job the most?"

"My favorite part of the job is the mission of our organization, to enrich people’s lives. I get to make sure people are living their best life possible, I get to make sure people are having fun and are feeling fulfilled in this life’s journey! It is a deeply rewarding position"
