Bismarck's beloved quarterback Carson Wentz is expected to be traded this week.  According to an article on SB Nation, NFL experts Adam Schefter and Chris Mortensen say a trade is coming that will "Rock the NFL" in the coming days or minutes for that matter.

It's crazy how things went so badly, so quickly for Wentz.  It's obvious, that there was friction between Carson and former Philadelphia coach Doug Pederson.  When the smoke cleared at the end of the season, it was Pederson who was fired.  Many believed that Wentz might be back behind center for the Eagles after this move.  However, it appears Philadelphia's new head coach Nick Sirianni and Philly's front office appear to want to go with Jalen Hurts, and move on from Wentz.

It's believed Philadelphia is looking for a package deal, similar to the Detroit-Los Angeles Matthew Stafford deal, that includes a couple of first round draft picks.  The feeling around the league is Philly won't get nearly as much for Wentz.  Stafford was a seemingly a hot commodity at the time.  Good numbers over the years on a very bad team and organization.  (Detroit Lions)  Stafford was never benched during his time in Detroit either.  I guess it remains to be seen if Carson Wentz is valued the same way around the NFL.

The teams most likely to be interested in making a deal for Wentz?  Sources around the league believe Indianapolis and Chicago are the most likely the next stops for Wentz.  The Bears especially have been rumored to be ready to wheel and deal of late.

As a Carson Wentz fan, I really hope it's not Chicago.  They are notorious for not adding pieces around their quarterbacks.  Sound familiar?  See Philadelphia the last couple of years.

Whoever gets Carson, here's hoping a change in scenery will get Wentz back to his Pro Bowl form.
