Everyone Has Their Idiosyncrasies - It's What Makes Us Human - ( Make sense ? )

I think it's pretty safe to say we all have our "Pet Peeves" - What exactly is that, you ask? Well, according to vocabulary.com  "A peeve is an annoyance, and a pet peeve is an annoyance that’s nurtured like a pet — it's something someone can never resist complaining about. There are all kinds of pet peeves, like littering, misusing punctuation, driving slowly in the fast lane, or talking during movies." One thing I know for certain is that what drives one person crazy, someone else might not even think twice about it.

So, take a quick look at the cover picture of this article

Hey, Bismarck, is this one of your Pet Peeves? A co-worker of mine has talked about this before in the past; his "annoyance" is quite different than what most people express. Many will complain about irritations with, for example, the driving habits of others. That seems to be the most common area of frustration. This one, though, is not as rare as you think.

"Please STOP writing things with a Sharpie on my coffee cup."

I won't mention the name of this establishment, but it's one of their traits to write your name or something cheerful on your coffee cup with a Sharpie. "I can't stop thinking about the possibility of the Sharpie bleeding through the cup into my fresh coffee. Plus I HATE the smell of it, I always ask them, TO PLEASE JUST GIVE ME MY CUP OF COFFEE, SANS THE SHARPIE." Now, in defense of this place, company policy states mandatory notes on every cup ( our co-worker is aware of it, and always asks politely to lose the Sharpie )

Can you relate to this dilemma?

He has, with patience and a smile on his face.
