Five People Accidentally Shot at Three Different Gun Shows
After the Sandy Hook shooting, gun control has become a very hot topic in America. Everyone has a differing opinion as to what should change. After five people were shot at three different gun shows this past week...on Gun Appreciation Day, no less...I have a feeling a few of those opinions will sway towards one side of the argument.
In Raleigh, North Carolina, a loaded 12-gauge shotgun went discharged at a security check-point and three people were injured, though none critically. In Medina, Ohio, a man shot his friend with a semi-automatic pistol after the dealer neglected to take out the chambered round after the man bought it. And, finally, in Indianapolis, a man was injured when he accidentally shot himself while leaving a gun show.
Obviously, these were all accidents...but common sense probably could've played a part in preventing all of them. You can put all of the gun laws you want into place but, unfortunately, you can't stop stupid.
