I have to admit, I was down and out all morning long, Today started out extremely depressing...

...but after about ten minutes of reading about this on Facebook, my whole demeanor had changed, and I owe that to a little North Dakota girl, and to the "Happiest Place On Earth" - oh, AND one of the most Magical Places in the universe!

Let's set up the scene first

Yes, today is Monday, but it's also September 11 - one of the, if not THE most memorable, shocking days of our lives - 9/11 - 2001 - thousands of innocent people lost their lives in New York, the Pentagon, just outside Washington D.C. and in rural Pennsylvania - as four planes hijacked by terrorists set out for destruction were flown into buildings and one was brought down onto a field. This was solely on my mind almost the second I woke up this morning, but a seven-year-old girl from Glen Ullin cracked the frown that was on my face.

Make-A-Wish North Dakota happened on the Medora Musical stage last Thursday

I'm jealous of those of you who were physically there to witness this amazing event. According to kfyrtv.com Seven-year-old Harper Wetzel has dreamt about one of the "Happiest places on Earth" for quite some time - “I wanted to go ever since I was four or I think four, Disney World, I just, I love everything Disney,” Harper was diagnosed with Craniopharyngioma in October 2022. In nothing short of a classy, beautiful scene "... Seven-year-old Harper Wetzel found out her wish of visiting Disney World was coming true on the Medora Musical stage last Thursday"  Like I said, I wish I was there last week to see the look on her face. Thank you Make-A-Wish, Thank you Medora, and Thank You Disney World for filling my heart with joy!
