I'm all about people showing respect to others and their community

I have talked to Deborah Vollmuth before, I met her fairly recently ( I'll tell you more on that in just a bit ). I think it's pretty standard once you become Facebook friends you will see from time to time a new post from them, most of the time we will quickly read it, give it a comment and a "Like" and onward you go with your day - This post grabbed my attention the second I saw it. Deborah and her husband Nick live in Selfridge, North Dakota. Nick and his friend Tim Schell were in the National Guard together. Tim is quite talented. Sculpted and created out of wood, take a look at the artwork he gave Deborah and Nick. You can see this for yourself at the Selfridge cemetery.

"Tim Schell made a silhouette of a kneeling soldier for the Selfridge Cemetery. Nick Vollmuth and I went out this evening and put it up. Hope you like it!"

People love it, by the way, these were the comments that Deborah's FB friends all had in agreement. How could you not? Recognize the respect, honor, and real love that Tim created. This isn't the first time Deborah did something special for her community, just last month she helped organize a fundraiser for 5-year-old Cheville Jochum, who was born prematurely and had other ailments as well. A beautiful day of town pride, a parade, a good old-fashion ice cream social, and an auction right there on Main Street - at the end of that remarkable July 23rd, Selfridge raised more than $50,000 dollars for the Jochum family, who were blown away by the show of support.

Just another act of unselfish love

Deborah Vollmuth - just being a typical North Dakotan.
