New Report Reveals North Dakotans Have A Favorite Gas Station Snack

A study was released earlier this week showing that North Dakotans are creatures of habit, we have our go-to's. We go to the same grocery stores, the same restaurants, the same parks, etc. When it comes to gas stations it's no different. We have a favorite.

Because a lot of us are planning on taking summer road trip across the state, a study by Hartley Law looked at recent Google trends over the last 12 months, to find our most-frequented gas station. They found that North Dakotans most frequently stop at Mobil. I wonder why that is. Is it faster? Is it cheaper? Is it cleaner? What do you think? Now, the most-visited gas stations overall are Shell and Buc-ee's - they tied nationally.

Personally, I like to go to the closest one to my house, even if it doesn't necessarily have all of the things I want/need, even if the pumps spew out gas as slow as molasses, even if the gas is slightly cheaper somewhere else, but to each their own.

The source also looked at our favorite gas station snack, and no it's not sunflower seeds, or jerky. Surprisingly, North Dakotans most often snagged gas station snack is a Twix bar.
