Very Odd, Sort Of Normal, & Downright Strange: North Dakota’s 10 Biggest Phobias

We all are afraid of something creepy crawlies, darkness, animals, animals IN the darkness, the list goes on...

Have you ever wondered what most North Dakota‘s are afraid of?  -- A report, looking at 19 million Americans found what each state fears the most. You might be surprised to see what North Dakotans are not very fond of.

A company/website called betcarolina.com analyzed Google searches over the last 12 months to find this information. They looked at the top 50 most common phobias, typed them in to a keyword search, and what it revealed was pretty interesting.

What do you think? Are any of these on your list? Do any of these things freak you out? I’ll be honest, I’m surprised snakes didn’t make the list...also sharks, but we don’t have too much to worry about when it comes to sharks in North Dakota, I suppose.

I also found fear of vomiting odd. I mean, I get it. We drink a lot, but we’re used to it, right?

Just kidding, mostly. As cleansing as it may be, it's certainly not my favorite thing to do, but I digress.

The number one fear in North Dakota is of small holes… I’m very confused. Is this because of snakes? Or...are we afraid of tripping and springing our ankles? I’m not really sure what this is about but ok.
