What are the most scenic towns/cities in North Dakota?

This is the question I recently asked my listeners on air, on our radio station's social media pages, and listeners chimed in on the app as well.

I've literally been tabulating the results for about two hours (my head is spinning) as I've had more than 2,000 responses.  On our social media pages, I had people give us their top 3 most scenic cities/towns in North Dakota.  I think it's safe to say that 95% of all responses on our Facebook pages had one particular city included in their 3 answers.

Before I get to the 11 most scenic towns/cities in North Dakota, how about we run down some of the honorable mentions?

#1 on that list would be Jamestown, definitely a pretty North Dakota city home of the largest buffalo in America.  Jamestown just missed the Top 11.

Other honorable mentions with multiple votes include Killdeer, Pick City, Bottineau, Minot, Grand Forks, Fargo, White Earth, Pembina, Hazen, Lisbon, Dunseith, Regent, Crosby, Mohall, and Grenora.

Cities that picked up a single vote include: Arena (ghost town), Des Lacs, Hillsboro, Steele, McClusky, Cannonball, Belfield, Dickinson, Huff, Kenmare, Menoken, Columbus, Lignite, Noonan, Grassy Butte, Fort Totten, Hettinger, and Golden Valley.

I've got a few cities/towns I would like to add to the list that should've gotten mentioned in my opinion.  They include Linton, which is such a pretty little community southeast of Bismarck.  Burlington west of Minot is another very scenic community.  Mayville and Portland on the Goose River are another pair of cities that are worthy of mention.  Lastly, I'm surprised that Bowman didn't get brought up.

So, without further ado, let's get to the Best of the Best. The Top 11 Most Scenic Towns/Cities in North Dakota.
